Gorilla Watches Introduces New Versions of the Fastback

Gorilla Watches Fastback Acid Green

Just two days after we launched Gorilla Watches as our very first partner brand here on WatchGauge (read about it here), they announced new versions of their first and very successful collection, the Fastback.

The extended range introduces three new colors in Acid Green, RS White, and Phantom Black.

The original Gorilla Watches Fastback was introduced last year in a limited run of 500 pieces and was widely cheered for it’s revolutionary design and use of very advanced materials!  In the watch industry, it isn’t very common to see the use of Ceramic, Anodized Aluminum, Forged Carbon, or (although slightly more common) Titanium.  It made it that more special when Gorilla combined all 4 materials in the construction of the Fastback!  Not to mention at $880!  Many of the big name brands that use the same materials usually start at $20,000 plus!

Here’s personal wrist shot of the original Gorilla Watches Fastback, which is currently available here on WatchGauge!

It is easy to see that the Gorilla Watches Fastback is a bold watch.  At 44mm, it surprisingly light and very wearable due to their use of materials as well as the way the case curves around the wrist.  To match the Fastback’s boldness, Gorilla Watches posted the video below…

The new versions will begin delivering sometime in September and will retain the affordable $880 and you will no doubt be able to find them here on WatchGauge.

Here are the specs:

Case Dimensions:  44mm wide(without crown),  13.7mm thick
